HORSE TRAINING
Starting/Re-starting/schooling
The Best feeling in the world is communicating with these fantastic animals and getting results. To achieve that, it's important to get it right from the start.
Education is so important in all disciplines. Without it, how do you achieve the success you're after.
We use a diverse range of techniques to cater and adapt to each and individual horse. Although I firmly believe that a partnership in communication over force is the only way to produce a horse of any type, Most of the techniques I use today have been taught to me by the horse itself simply by just listening.
Schooling
If your horse needs a little help along the way or some extra buttons installed, then some extra schooling might be the ticket for you. Working with the horse as well as you to achieve the best results and your goals as a rider. Achieve communication between you and the horse that you both can understand.
On the ground we like to strive for respect for your space, and their awareness of you.
It's extremely important for safety that you have a well mannered horse on the ground that listens and respects you. Just as you respect them.
Starting/Breaking in
At Holbrook Equestrian we believe that starting a horse paves the way for their future, it creates a base foundation for their entire ridden lives. And no matter the horses temperament, background or previous experiences we strive to make this process the most positive start to their careers.
It's important to get the first step in your horse's education right. We create a positive experience, form a level of trust and communication before even making a step to getting on there back.
We then will work with you as the owner to have the knowledge and capability to continue the horses learning further.
Our starting process involves our voices, body language and pressure & release. We teach them kindly and at their own pace. Taking any form of nervousness out of the equation before we embark on the journey of riding.
Riding Out / Competition Riding
Do you want to get your horse better out riding and don’t have the confidence to do it yourself? Whether at a show, on the Road, Beach, Forest you name it and we can help!!
Making every outing a positive experience, with our help it will be you out there in no time.

COACHING
It's always good to have a second set of knowledgeable eyes on the ground to help you perform at your best.
I love teaching, it's on of my favourite things. Probably because so far iv had great success and positive feed back from all kinds of riders with different types of horses.
I can relate to most horse, rider combinations due to the amount of experience i have gathered over the years.
This makes it easy for me to help you develop your relationship with your horse or better communication and team work, to then grow together as that team.
